Indicative Case Study

The subject dwelling, approx. 1,600 sq ft, is a single storey bungalow with traditional detailing. It has a low-profile section including a series of shallow pitch roofs, the roof structure is at a height of 5.5m to the ridge above finished floor level. The elevations of the dwelling will be predominantly finished using a simple palette of materials and nap render finish.

The estimated Building Energy Rating (BER) based upon an assumed specification - Med/High B, this rating can be improved by increasing the specification thus altering overall build cost.

 Estimated Cost using the traditional main contractor route:-                 275,200

 Total Cost of Construction using PSP-MB&E:-                                    217,600
